Summer starts officially this week, and to celebrate its arrival the Fuengirola Council has organised some great events after a 2-year break due to the pandemic.
One of these events is the San Juan open-air festival from the 22nd to the 25th of June in the Boquetillo neighbourhood.
The opening ceremony will be on Wednesday, the 22nd of June, from 9:00 horas P.M and during the days this festival is on there will be many music and dancing performances, all of them free of charge, including the one by famous Spanish singer David de Maria at 11:00 P.M on Friday the 24th of June.
On Thursday, the 23rd of June, San Juan’s Night, the Beach Clubs of Fuengirola, including our Rivera Beach Club, will offer a sardine skewer and a drink for only 5 euros during the evening and they will also have some live music.
That same evening at 12:00 A.M to celebrate the official arrival of summer there will be an amazing firework display from the San Francisco Beach.
And to finish the San Juan related events on Saturday, the 25th at 2:00 P.M there will be a free paella tasting with free drinks on Plaza Anabel Conde also in El Boquetillo neighbourhood.
