Last week here on the blog of Hotel Yaramar we informed you that the fair of Fuengirola was coming soon, so today we have the pleasure to recommend you not to miss the first of the many fair related events that will take place in our town: The Romeria of Virgen del Rosario.
The Romeria of Fuengirola is always on the Sunday before the start of the fair, so if you have the fortune of being on holiday with us right now try not to miss it as you will get to experience what a traditional Spanish “romeria” is.
This great event will be held on Sunday the 1st of October. It will start at around 9:30 A.M with a beautiful mass in the Virgen del Rosario Church, located in Plaza de la Constitución right in the town centre.
Once the mass is over, beautiful horses and carriages will join the Virgin of Rosario in a procession that will take her from Fuengirola town centre to Parque del Esparragal in Mijas Costa.
There is no better way to get ready for the fair than attending this very special mass, so if you have no plans for Sunday do not forget to note down this cool one on your diary.
We are sure you will really enjoy it!
