Last week here on the blog of Hotel Yaramar, your hotel in Fuengirola, we recommended you not to miss the fantastic gastronomic route “La Cazuela de la Abuela”.
This week we would like to suggest you another interesting plan, also organised by the Fuengirola City Council: visiting the new stunning photography exhibition housed in Museo Ciudad de Fuengirola.
In the past, we have recommended you many times to visit this local museum, located by the new town hall and very close to Bioparc Fuengirola, as its entry is free and its exhibitions well worth it.
The new exhibition there is called “Portraits: From East to West” and it contains 45 impressive black and white photographies of a big size taken by well known photographer, Jerónimo Alba, settled in Fuengirola since 1967.
For years, Jerónimo has been taken pictures of important local characters for him, like sportspeople, arists, polititians, health professionals, priests and nuns or shopkeepers.
The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Friday from 7:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M. and from 10:00 A.M till 2:00 P.M and 5:00 P.M till 9:00 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday.
If at the moment you are on holiday at Hotel Yaramar and fancy seeing Fuengirola and its locals from another perspective, we recommend you not to miss it.
It is beautiful!
