Last week we shared with you our joy for the arrival of December as this is a very special month at Hotel Yaramar as we have lots to celebrate.
First comes the birthday of our lovely Geoffrey and soon after our favourite time of year arrives: Christmas!
In Christmas we all are merrier and everything is a bit nicer, including towns and cities as they get more crowded and look fantastic with so many Christmas lights and decorations.
As you know in the past we have recommended you to visit Malaga quite a few times, both here on the blog of Hotel Yaramar and in our weekly Spanish culture activity. In our opinion Malaga is an incredible city worth a visit all year round, but during Christmas the capital of Costa del Sol really gets breathtaking.
The whole city certainly looks stunning but if we have to recommend you a beautiful spot during Christmas that cannot be other than the famous calle Larios.
Year after year its lighting is amazing, but this 2014 it looks even greater as it is decorated with magnificent lights in the shape of Gothic arches and vaults.
This marble floored street with well looked after buildings is the most important street on Costa del Sol and one of the most outstanding commercial areas in Spain, so its Christmas lights are obviously the most beautiful in the region!
Another place worth a visit this Christmas is Plaza de la Constitucion as it is quite close to calle Larios and it looks lovely thanks to a big Christmas tree and some cute festive decorations.
Well, if this December you have the fortune of coming on holiday to Hotel Yaramar, your hotel in Fuengirola, try not to miss a visit to Malaga city centre.
It gets magical in the evening!
