Gazpachuelo is a typical fishermen soup consumed in winter months which name is linked to the typical Andalusian gazpacho as they both have some common ingredients: bread, garlic, oil and water.
However, unlike the refreshing gazpacho the gazpachuelo is served hot and among its many tasty ingredients are mayonnaise sauce, prawns, fish and potatoes.
It seems that in the old times it was a very common dish in humble homes that ended up being cooked in every home in Malaga and that now is even served in the best restaurants of the area.
