Did you know that a few months ago we launched an amazing new menu at the Rivera Beach Club?
The person behind this menu is Salvador López, a very talented chef that many of you might not know yet as he works behind the scenes.
Salvador has been working with us for about 3 years and before working at the Rivera he did it at Hotel Florida Spa and Hotel Yaramar.
Salvador has been a chef since he was 18 and he is so passionate about what he does that has even attended several cooking seminars where very important chefs in Spain like Dani García or Joan Roca have participated.
Cooking seems to be very fashionable nowadays as there are many programs about it on TV. Salvador in fact has appeared on international TV as he was part of the judging panel of “Casa Dudley”, a TV show filmed in Ronda for Welsh TV channel S4C.
Salvador states that his favourite meals are home cooked ones. His passion for home cooking and the love he puts on what he does are more than evident on his dishes. Salvador is a creative chef and he really enjoys cooking, so his dishes apart from being traditional also have a twist and a modern touch.
When we asked him about the most popular dish of his menu he told us the star dish is the Jerez style oxtail, something that makes sense because we have tried it and it is definitely delicious, though in our opinion all of his dishes are incredibly tasty and highly recommended as they are of a very high quality and very outstanding flavours.
If you are on holiday at Hotel Yaramar, your hotel in Fuengirola, and you have not had the chance to try Salvador’s modern and traditional cuisine we certainly recommend you to do it. There aren’t many places where you can eat something as beautiful for such a good value while you enjoy the sun and some lovely sea views!
