If right now you are having a wonderful holiday at Hotel Yaramar, your hotel in Fuengirola, and you found interesting our last post about the photography exhibition, you possibly will also enjoy today’s post as it is about the fantastic painting exhibition currently on display in Museo Ciudad de Fuengirola.
This exhibition, called “Escalona: Pedro & Maria. Shared Space”, consists of more than 70 pieces by artists Pedro and María Escalona.
Pedro and María are father and daughter, both of them from Fuengirola and both with massive painting skills: while Pedro’s realism is outstanding, María’s landscapes are breathtaking.
This exhibition is the first event organised by the City Council to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the Independence of Fuengirola from Mijas.
Its official opening was on Friday, 1st of April, and it will be on till the 29th of May.
Visiting “Escalona: Pedro & María. Shared Space” is free and it can be done from Tuesday to Friday from 5:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 A.M to 2:00 P.M and from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
Museo Ciudad de Fuengirola is very close to Bioparc, so if during your holiday you decide to explore Fuengirola city centre, do not forget to add this to your places to visit list.
We hope you enjoy the fantastic work of two of our most popular local artists!
