Just a pair of weeks ago here on the blog of Hotel Yaramar we explained who Juanito was and how a footballer from Fuengirola ended up becoming a Spanish football legend.

This year, as it is the 25th anniversary of his death, the City Council has organised a series of events and activities in his honour.

As we mentioned here on the blog, there was a football match in his honour on the 5th of May in the Elola stadium. Now, until Sunday the 4th of June, our local museum “Museo Ciudad de Fuengirola” is also housing a fantastic exhibition about him.

Football fans will definitely love this exhibition as many objects related or belonging to Juanito, like trophies or pictures, are on display there. These amazing objects are not only part of the history of Fuengirola, but also part of the history of Real Madrid.

Our local museum is very close to Bioparc Fuengirola and this stunning free exhibition is open for visits from Tuesday to Friday from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. and from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

If you are on holiday at Hotel Yaramar and football is your passion do not miss it! We are sure you will love it!
