In the town of Cartama, in inland Malaga, you can find the Cartama Oval, a magnificent cricket ground, only 15 minutes away from Malaga Airport, where this sport can get played all year around due to our fantastic weather.
All the matches of the European Cricket League will be played at the Cartama Oval, from the 7th of February to the 18th of March.
In the ECL the national champions of 29 European countries (Spain, England, Denmark, Austria, Luxembourg, Finland, France, Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Norway, Bulgary, Hungary, Croatia, Scotland, Italy, Romania, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Turkey, The Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Malta, Russia, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus) compete with each other to win the Champion of Europe title.
