Exhibition about Toulouse-Lautrec in Museo Carmen Thyssen

06huhti

This week the blog of Hotel Yaramar is all about art as we would like to recommend you a fantastic exhibition currently on in the capital of Costa del Sol.

From the 21st of February till the 9th of June Museo Carmen Thyssen holds an interesting exhibition called “Toulouse-Lautrec and the circus”.

As we pointed out in the past when we mentioned this museum, Museo Carmen Thyssen is based in a beautiful old building right in the heart of Malaga. It opens Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 A.M to 8:00 P.M and its entry price depends on if you only want to see the temporary exhibition or both, temporary and permanent. What is constant is the fact every Sunday from 5:00 P.M its entry is free.

The exhibition we mentioned above, called “Toulouse-Lautrec” is a temporary one that offers its visitors the possibility to discover the fascinating drawings made by the artist using coloured pencils during a short period of convalescence in a sanatorium in Paris.

If you really like art and you are planning to stay with us shortly, we recommend you go to visit the Thyssen Museum to enjoy this superb exhibition.

Enjoy art in Costa del Sol!

09maalis

If you love art, we have great news for you as this week on the blog of Hotel Yaramar we are going to tell you all about one of the most incredible exhibitions that can currently get visited in Spain.

This exhibition is about worldwide famous symbolist artist Gustav Klimt.

Some of you might remember that last year here on our blog we recommended you the “Van Gogh Alive Experience” exhibition, well,  this new one about Klimt is very similar as it comes from the same organisers.

This new fabulous exhibition is called “El Oro de Klimt” (“Klimt’s Gold”) and can be visited in Malaga from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M. until the 19th of April.

“El Oro de Klimt” is on display in Muelle Uno, the marina of the capital of Costa del Sol, and it is a unique multisensorial experience where images get projected, music gets played and scents get released  to immerse visitors in the fabulous work of the well-known Austrian painter.

Depending on the date of the visit and the age of the visitor the entry price may vary. For more information or to buy entry tickets online please chick here

“El Oro de Klimt” is one of the most interesting exhibitions currently available so we are very lucky to have having such an amazing exhibit in Costa del Sol right now.

In Malaga we not only have great weather, but also great art!

Benalmadena Cable Cars

17helmi

It might be winter, but here in Costa del Sol we are very fortunate, and our weather is still amazing.

When on holiday, specially if the sun shines, there is no better plan than visiting the tourist attractions of the destination.

In the case of Costa del Sol, one of the most popular ones is the Benalmadena Cable Cars.

The Benalmadena cable car route links Benalmadena Costa with the peak of Monte Calamorro, at approximately 800 metres above sea level. This therefore is one of the highest points in Costa del Sol.

From the peak of the Calamorro you will enjoy stunning views of the coast and, if the weather allows it and it is a clear day, you might even manage to see Sierra Nevada, Gibraltar or the North of Africa.

This is a well worth trip as not many places offer such great views. In February and March the service is available daily from 11:00 A.M to 6:00 P.M, the journey lasts about 15 minutes and each cable car takes up to 4 people.

The access to this service is very easy as the cable cars are taken just beside the Benalmadena – Arroyo de la Miel train station, which means that you can get there easily thanks to the train line that connects Fuengirola with other important resorts in Costa del Sol.

If you are interested in experiencing it or have any doubt regarding the entry tickets please click here to visit their official website. https://www.telefericobenalmadena.com/?lang=en

Enjoy some of the most breath-taking views in Costa del Sol!
