If this is your case and you liked our previous post about “La Cazuela de la Abuela” route you might find this week’s post quite interesting too as it is about the amazing new gourmet market that got opened in Fuengirola just two weeks ago.
This mordern new market is called “La Galería” ( “The Gallery”) and it is right in the city centre of Fuengirola, very close to Plaza de la Constitución and right opposite the main post office in town.
Although “La Galería” is not a very big market with only 12 stalls, in the few days it has been opened it has received many visitors eager to try the amazing options each of them offer.
The choice there is quite extense as it is possible to eat from Japanese and Italian food, to traditional Spanish options like tasty mollete bread rolls, local fried fish or the traditional Andalusian cold tomato puree called salmorejo.
Apart from food stalls in “La Galería” there are also some stalls specialised in drinks and in gourmet products and in the future there will also be cultural activities like wine tasting or art exhibitions.
You surely agree that Fuengirola has always been a great place to eat out as it has a vast amount of bars and restaurants offering all kind of cuisines… and now that this amazing market is open the choice is even wider!
