Did you know that tomorrow, Tuesday the 28th of February, is the Day of Andalusia?
Since 1980, each year on the 28th of February we celebrate the day of our region. As it is a bank holiday in Southern Spain the Fuengirola City Council has organised some cultural events for locals and visitors, to make this day even more special.
Here in Los Boliches, very close to Hotel Yaramar, in the Pedro Cuevas square to be precise, the local music band will give a concert at 12:00 P.M. and the Tatiana Cuevas flamenco group will perform afterwards, at 1:00 P.M.
Besides this, in the popular calle Francisco Cano, from 12:00 P.M. there will be activities about Andalusia for children and at 1:00 P.M there will be a music show by Alejandro Cabeza and Family.
At 2:00 P.M the performance of the verdiales band “Raices de Almogía” will start in Plaza del Carmen, and from there it will move to Avenidad Los Boliches, calle Lope de Vega and then to calle Francisco Cano.
To finish off, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M, in Parque de las Palmeras, in calle Feria de Jerez, right by the fairground, there will be a free tasting of migas as well as a performance by Charanga Lanz.
If this week you are at Hotel Yaramar, your hotel in Fuengirola, we certainly recommend not to miss this special celebration in Los Boliches.
You will surely have lots of fun!
