This Friday is Christmas Day, so if this year you have decided to spend this special time with us, you might find this week’s blog quite interesting.
This time of year Fuengirola City Council always organises lots of Christmas related activities to make us enjoy the festive season even more.
Out of all the activities scheduled for this week we would like to recommend you 2 of them as they are quite special and will possibly make your holiday an unforgettable one.
The first of them is the fantastic Christmas concert by our local brass band. This is tomorrow the 22nd of December at 8:30 P.M in Palacio de la Paz ( by the fairground).
Our second recommendation is not to miss the traditional “Misa del Gallo”.
“Misa del Gallo” literally means “Rooster’s Mass” and it is the most popular and most special mass in Spain as it is celebrated on Christmas Eve at midnight and commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.
This mass will be held on Thursday at midnight in all local churches but in the one in the city centre on Plaza de la Constitución where it will be held much earlier at 7:30 P.M.
If you have fortune of being on holiday at Hotel Yaramar right now we hope you fancied our suggestions.
Merry Christmas to you all! To those who celebrate it here with us and also to those who do it at home!
