A letter from Management – Covid19

25Mar

Dear guests,

For the first time we are obliged to close our hotels to contribute in stopping the coronavirus pandemic from spreading. The Royal Decree Law 463/2020, of the 14th of March, has been extended and now contemplates that hotels must also remain closed during the state of emergency. We understand this is a hard decision that had to be made to ensure or team and guests health above all.

The state of emergency is currently in place until the 12th of April. We are in constant comunication with the authorities to follow the instruccions given, hopping this will end as soon as posible so we can welcome you back at our hotels Angela, Yaramar and Florida Spa.

We would like to express our gratitude to our employees, who have handled this hard situation with the profesionalism and care that they have always shown and to our guests for their understanding and trust. We send our condolences to those who have lost a loved one and our strength to the doctors and authorities that are working so hard for all of us.

Although we must remain closed, we continue working to give the best of ourselves as soon as the situation comes back to normal. We would like to thank all our guests that are having to modify their reservations for their patience. Our reservations team remains at your service for any questions or future reservations.

We look foward to seeing you soon and remember meanwhile we can keep in touch on Facebook. We are certain that we can beat this situation all together and come out even stronger.

Exhibition about Klimt in Malaga

09Mar

If you love art, we have great news for you as this week on the blog of Hotel Yaramar we are going to tell you all about one of the most incredible exhibitions that can currently get visited in Spain.

This exhibition is about worldwide famous symbolist artist Gustav Klimt.

Some of you might remember that last year here on our blog we recommended you the “Van Gogh Alive Experience” exhibition, well,  this new one about Klimt is very similar as it comes from the same organisers.

This new fabulous exhibition is called “El Oro de Klimt” (“Klimt’s Gold”) and can be visited in Malaga from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M. until the 19th of April.

“El Oro de Klimt” is on display in Muelle Uno, the marina of the capital of Costa del Sol, and it is a unique multisensorial experience where images get projected, music gets played and scents get released  to immerse visitors in the fabulous work of the well-known Austrian painter.

Depending on the date of the visit and the age of the visitor the entry price may vary. For more information or to buy entry tickets online please chick here

“El Oro de Klimt” is one of the most interesting exhibitions currently available so we are very lucky to have having such an amazing exhibit in Costa del Sol right now.

In Malaga we not only have great weather, but also great art!

9th Edition of La Cazuela de la Abuela

02Mar

The weather here might be absolutely brilliant, but it is winter after all, so this time of year there is nothing better than having some lovely comfort food, and this is why Fuengirola organizes the popular food route called “La Cazuela de la Abuela” around this time of year.

This year in fact will be its 9th edition and many local bars and restaurants will participate in it. From Friday the 6th till Sunday the 22nd of March they all will offer a delicious casserole and a drink (glass of wine, beer, soft drink or water) for only 2.50€.

As in the past 8 years, our Rivera Beach Club will also participate this time with a tasty bean and seafood casserole that has tomato, peppers, garlic, beans, squid, mussels and langoustines as main ingredients… It sounds lovely, right?

If you are currently on holiday in Hotel Yaramar, your hotel in Fuengirola, and love Spanish food we certainly recommend you try the new amazing casserole our chef Salvador from the Rivera Beach Club has prepared for you all this year and to vote for it!

We also would like to wish Salvador best of luck and hope he becomes a finalist as in some of the past editions!
