Adapted Beaches for disabled people in Fuengirola
Did you know that Fuengirola is the perfect place for people with limited mobility willing to enjoy a day at the beach?
In year 2000 the Fuengirola Council adapted Las Gaviotas beach, which is not that far from Hotel Yaramar as it is right opposite the Ronda 3 apartments.
Now the Council has installed accessible platforms in more spots of the coast and they also have pergolas for shade, special crutches, hoists, water friendly wheelchairs and lifeguards.
The adapted beaches are by the Castle, in the town centre beach area, in Las Gaviotas and in Carvajal.
For our part, we have adapted the accesses to our Rivera Beach Club and we now have an area with 2 sunbeds reserved to people with reduced mobility.
Because in Fuengirola now everybody can enjoy the summer and our beautiful beaches!
