2 weeks ago here on the blog of Hotel Yaramar we told you about “La Cazuela de la Abuela”, a fantastic gastronomic route in which participated our Rivera Beach Club.
This week the topic of our blog is food again as last Friday the 27th of February a fantastic new event started in our neighbouring town: the 1st Tapa Festival of Mijas.
This great new festival will be on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, being the 29th of March its last day.
While it is on the participant establishments of Mijas Pueblo, Las Lagunas and La Cala will offer a delicious tapa and drink for only 2 euros.
There will be tapas of all kind, from traditional to more modern and exotic ones. In fact some of the bars and restaurants will offer not one but two different tapas, so customers can choose which they would like to try.
As in other tapa routes customes will get a “Tapa Passport” that will have to get stamped in 5 different participant bars for them to be able to vote for their favourite tapa.
Voting on Facebook will be another option as there will be an official Facebook page about this event. Apart from the votes they will receive from customers thru passports and Facebook these delicious tapas will also be judged by a professional judging panel.
Those who vote using their “Tapa Passport” will participate in a draw of great prizes like free meals in lovely local bars and restaurants.
You might be a bit hungry after reading this post, so if right now you are enjoying a fantastic holiday at Hotel Yaramar, why don’t you make the most of you stay by visiting Mijas and enjoying its fantastic cuisine?
