Last week here on the blog of Hotel Yaramar we recommended you to attend the endearing exhibition that up till a few days ago was on display in Casa de la Cultura of Fuengirola.

This week we have another cultural recommendation as this Saturday, the 20th of May, the city of Malaga will hold its fabulous White Night.

The first White Night ever was held in Paris in 2002 with the aim of making art more approchable to citizens. This great idea soon arrived to other cities all over the world like Malaga, which held its first White Night in spring 2008.

As it has always been a very successful event, it has now reached its 10th edition.

This year its main topic is “dreams”, its slogan “Dreamt so much that forgot to sleep” and its symbol a cute character called “Buluna” which is a mix between an owl and the moon.

The White Night will be on in different areas of the city, from 7:00 P.M. to 02:00 A.M., plenty of time then to participate in some of 217 fantastic activities organised especially for this event.

As a novelty this year the Malaga City Council, in cooperation with the Tourist Board, will provide brochures both in Spanish and English so many more people will be able to make the most of the activities.

As we have said in previous posts Malaga’s White Night is one of the best in Spain, so if you are currently at Hotel Yaramar, your hotel in Fuengirola, we definitely recommend you not to miss it.

This Saturday Malaga will make you dream!
