The Costa del Sol is known world-wide for its wonderful sunshine and its fine beach weather. With 320 days of sunshine each year, it makes the perfect choice for either a long or short holiday. Golfers in particular flock to the region’s many courses which are open the whole year round.
Temperatures in the summer can be very hot, especially inland, away from the sea. Seville, for example, regular reaches temperatures of 40 degrees Centigrade for days every summer. Winter temperatures, on the other hand, seldom go below ten degrees. When it does rain, it can rain hard and for a few days in a row but this usually only occurs between November and February and lately, it seems to be occurring less and less.
